I always encourage Artists to do certain things which will help them get the attention of the Art buying public.

Make videos with the Artist clearly visible talking about their Art and why we should like it.

Story tell your Art, stories create mind pictures.

Write a blog expressing your Art opinions.

Once you have some collector, start a monthly newsletter.

Why do I want Artists to do these things?

I want you to be successful and build your best life.

I know that some of theses things are scary to do, but what if you did them and your sales increased, that would be exciting and fulfilling.

I know this, success does not come to the fearful, it takes courage to step out of your comfort zone and do new things and challenge yourself to learn new skills and become better.

Fear is the enemy that most don’t overcome, because they don’t challenge it and do what the fear says not to do.

I know this, that my first video was really scary, but now many years later it’s never making the video, that’s the easy part, fresh content is the hard part.

Overcome fear and build your best life.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
