Hope.
I don’t want hope, when people say they will get back to me, I hear that as a polite no and get on with selling to the next customer, now if in the future they do get back to me, then I am pleasantly surprised.
Artists learn to hear, I will get back to you or let me think about it as a polite no and get to the next customer.
Selling is about showing your work to as many people as possible in search of a yes.
Don’t live in hope, approach each sale systematically doing it again and doing it better.
