After three years it had come to this, Sam sitting alone in this cold divorce court, listening to her husbands lawyers argue that she deserved nothing, as she had contributed nothing to the marriage and the judge was certainly sympathetic to the husbands arguments. The judge listened to what the husbands lawyers said and never at anytime addressed Sam until the end and he asked if she wanted to comment, she said that she had nothing to say, so the judge ruled that Sam should get $50,000 and the husband would get everything else and that was that, the marriage was over.
