Look in the mirror.



Sadly some Artists suffer from jealousy and greed.
Sometimes they lust for another Artists life and success, this is the road to unhappiness and hell.
No one knows the journey that any person is on but that person themselves.
Do not covert another Artists life, fame or wealth it may turn out to be the curse that will destroys you.
Learn to be content with your life and be ambitious to improve your life, by improving yourself.
Do say look at everyone else and say they must change and it is all so unfair, that is not yours to control or change.
The world is a beautiful place but if you always looking at what others have and are doing, you will miss the truly precious things of this life.
A smile, the sunsets, a hug and all the beautiful flowers and a million other things that are all free for you to enjoy.
Do not look at others, look in the mirror and begin to appreciate all you can be, others do not hold the key to your success, the person in the mirror does.
Begin to work on the little negatives in your personality and work habits and big things will begin to happen in your life.
Work on small daily disciplines and big changes will take place yearly.

Next time you look in the mirror, smile at that person and tell them you love them and they are the key to your success, for they are the only person you will get to live with all your life, love yourself so you can love others.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
