Know, like, trust.


Even though with so many Art videos being made many are not chasing attention.

The main reason we make an Art video is to get people to know, like and trust us.

We want them to know our name and our face and if they then like us, they are much more likely to trust us.

When we meet these people in person they already know, like and trust us and they will talk to us because we are not strangers to them, so our job of introducing ourselves to them is already done through the videos

The power of the Art video is not that people just see our Art work but they get to now us and we are not longer a stranger to them but a welcomed friend.

People who know, like and trust us are far more open to buy from us because we are not a stranger to them, that is why videos are so important.

Make videos with you and your Art in them talking about you and your Art and get peoples attention so they will know, like and trust us.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
