Learn the lessons of endurance in the storms of life.


When storms are hitting just endure them, do not try to change anything, the storms will pass, endure them and see them off.

The great lesson of hard times is survival, being there after the storm has passed.

Its to late to fix the leaking roof in the middle of the storm, sit it out.

Yes, there will be difficult times in your Art practice and during that time you will learn so much about yourself.

Will you endure and survive, or will you give up and walk away?

Now I believe this is a learned skill, because in the hard and difficult times the “thief ” is screaming at us to run away, get to a safe comfortable place, give up, it is the easiest thing to do and if the “thief ” wants that, then it is the wrong thing to do.

Endure the hard times, survive, because I honestly believe that if you can survive the difficult times you will be successful.

Much wisdom can be gained during the storms of life, leaning what skills you don't have and what you need to change in your Art practice, and finding the areas of your personal life you need to work on.

Be a wise Artist, prepare for the unexpected and endure.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most.
