The Muse will push you where you should go.


Most of the collectors I dealt with bought modern abstract Art to extreme modern Art but they still wanted to buy famous dead traditional Artists.

Many Artists struggle with searching for their style, but I believe the key is to paint in the way that most fulfils you and not worry about what others are doing, there is more than enough Art lovers around for all the different genres of Art.

Find where you are most fulfilled and don’t get caught up with which genre should I paint in, time and the Muse will push you where you should go.

Painting is an expression of you and who you are, so you must paint you.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
