Chapter 17. Two months later.

Sam’s schedule was now set, every morning she and Chloe would get up at 6.00am and go down to the gym, Chloe would work out and Sam would do her karate drills, they would finish by 7.00am, shower and then have breakfast.

At 8am Sam had language studies for two hours every day, she was slowly getting a grasp of the Korean language, she already spoke English, French and some German, she found she had an ear for languages and she was enjoying learning Korean.

Chloe spent this time going over the new choreography she was creating for their two new song, “Fight for GL girls,” and one song Chloe wrote for Sam, “Your my last.”

After Sam finished her language lessons she went straight into her studio and started painting, she like Chloe worked through until ten o’clock at night, she wanted to create as many paintings as possible because of the breaks she would have during the year.

She decided that when they are touring she will work on paper pieces, take her watercolours, pencils and oil pastels with her, they will all fit in her stiff artist carry bag.

Mr Park has scheduled an art show for Sam when they come back in September, before the tour of Australia and Asia, the show would be in a ballroom of the best hotel in Seoul and the sponsors would be Asian World Airlines and hopefully Dink, a Japanese fashion brand.

SDA are in negotiations with Dink as they are interested in Sam being their world wide ambassador.

So much is happening for Sam all because of that picture of Chloe kissing Sam on New Years Eve, it was amazing how her life has turned around and her future in Korea was very bright.

It was getting near 12 noon and Chloe came into Sam’s studio and said. “Sammy, lets have some lunch.”

Sam stopped working and walked up to Chloe and kissed her, Chloe took her hand and they went upstairs to the dinning room, Jenny was waiting for them, the maids bought out salads for Chloe and Sam and noodles for Jenny.

As Chloe was eating she said. “We have some visitors this afternoon Mr Park and his team are coming to see us do the two new songs and to look at Sammy’s paintings.”

Jenny said. “That’s exciting, he will love the two new songs, they are excellent.”
Sam said. “How will you do the songs?”

Chloe said. “We will sing both songs through with our backing music, then we will dance the songs and if he is happy, we will go to SDA and record them and do the dance video, then their video team will work their magic on it, we are always surprised at the end result, it will look amazing.

SDA want to release one song immediately and the other song on the week we arrive in LA.”

Sam said. “I love the two songs, especially the one you wrote for me, thank you my love.”

All the members of Ever Love arrived at one and they rehearsed their dance movements in preparation to Mr Parks visit, Sam was in her studio and continued to work on her coming exhibition.

Mr Park arrived at precisely 2pm with his creative team of eight people, he walked into the dance studio and greeted the girls, he sat down on the only chair in the room.

Sam walked out of her studio and greeted Mr Park in Korean, he smiled and answered her in Korean. “You are doing very well Sam, I am impressed, now girls lets hear these new songs.”

The five girls lined up, the backing tape started and they sang, “Fight for GL girls.”

Mr Park was smiling, they then played the backing tape and went through their dance routine, Mr Park clapped.

The girls then sang, “Your my last,” they played the music and went through the dance routine.

Mr Park clapped again and said. “Amazing songs, I love them both and especially, “Your my last,” it is very good, who wrote that?”

Amber said. “Chloe wrote that for Sam, it is a great song.”

Mr Park said. “Congratulations Chloe, it is a wonderful song, so lets get into the studio and record the songs and then we will do the dance videos, these two songs will be big hits, you girls always amaze me with your music.”

They all said. “Thank you Sir.”

“Now girls I am not sure if Chloe has told you yet, we will all be in Sydney for New Years Eve as Chloe and Sam are getting married, we will film it on the same rooftop where that famous kiss took place that started all this attention and publicity that Ever Love are getting.

We are taking our full movie team and we will shoot it from the Wednesday until the Saturday, then on the Sunday we will have invited guests and we will do the ceremony, then film Chloe and Sam kissing at midnight with the fireworks going off in the background, Grand Auto Corporation has agreed to fund the shoot along with Asian World Airlines, so it will be an amazing spectacle and we will release it hopefully the following week, it will go viral.”

Amber said. “Congratulation ladies, it will be fun going to your wedding.”

All the other girls agreed and congratulated Chloe and Sam.

Mr Park stood up and said. “Now, let’s look at Sam’s paintings.”

Mr Park and his team walked around the studio, looking at and touching many paintings, they asked many questions about some of the paintings, Mr Park seemed hypnotised by different pieces as he stood in front of them and was visibly lost in thought.

Mr Park turned to Sam and said. “Sam you are very talented, I love your work, it’s so different from what anyone else is doing in South Korea, I think with a little push you are going to be a big star, I do like these little paintings you have over here, especially these pink ones, and this one particularly, it is so beautiful.”

Mr Park picked up the painting and stared at it, captured by the dreamy colours, he had a faint smile on his face.

Sam looked at Chloe, she nodded to her and Sam said. “Mr Park, would you like that painting?”

“Yes, it is very beautiful, how much is it?”

“It is my gift to you Sir.”

All the girls grasped and looked worried as Mr Park never accepted gifts, as he didn’t want to be beholden to anyone.

“Thank you Sam, it is very beautiful, I will treasure it and hang it in my office, so I see it every day.”

Jenny smiled at Sam and asked Mr Park if he wanted it wrapped?

“No, I will carry it myself, it is so beautiful, it radiates such joy, it has certainly touched my heart, well ladies, I will see you in the recording studio soon, Joon will arrange it immediately and he will give you the schedule.”

The girls thanked Mr Park, he and his team left, the girls were congratulating each other and Krystal said to Sam. “That is the first time we have ever seen Mr Park take a gift, normally he says no and often gets angry, I am amazed, he is very soft towards you.”

Sam smiled and looked at Chloe.

Jules said. “It’s those beautiful blue eyes, he can’t resist them.”

Chloe said. “Neither can I.” And touched Sam’s face.

Amber said. “Chloe, I am tired, can we all go and have a rest and come back tomorrow to rehearse all our old songs and dance routines?”

The other girls agreed and Chloe said. “Ok, we must work hard tomorrow, I want us to be perfect when we tour.”

All the girls agreed and started to leave, Chloe walked into Sam’s studio and said. “Sammy lets go upstairs and get a drink, we need to talk.”

Sam nodded, they went upstairs and sat in the lounge room and chatted, a maid came out with sparkling water for the girls and Sam said. “Were you amazed when Mr Park took my painting?”

“A little, as he never accepts gifts, but you have touched his heart, he is gay and he is very quiet about it, his partner is always in the background, he see’s our bravery and especially you coming to another country, falling in love with a woman and being very open about it, he can’t do that.”

“I see that I fell in love with you, that is all that matters.”

“I understand Sammy, we see our relationship as normal and natural, sadly others don’t, it will be interesting to see the reaction after the wedding video comes out.”
