Become extraordinary.




For a lot Artists just being average is ok.
But if you want to change your world then average, is not good enough.
To change your world you will need to become extraordinary.
Extraordinary, is going beyond what is the usual, the regular, or customary, to be exceptional to a very marked degree.
Now the interesting thing about being extraordinary is that you may not start out in front of the crowd but each day by your diligent work practice and positive attitude you will begin to step further and further out in front of the crowd.
To be extraordinary, is to be improving daily step by step becoming the best person you can be.
Working hard at Art and your Art practice becoming the best Artist you can be.
Not being satisfied with ok work or an average painting but only being satisfied with the best work you can produce.
Do this for yourself, for you, for your self image, for your confidence to know deep down every day no matter how repetitive each day may be that you have given it your very best, because you are worth that and you matter.
The moment you realize that, you and your Art will begin to step into the extraordinary.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
