Your own true fans.




So many people get so upset about some criticism made by some uncaring person about their Art and yes it hurts but we need to pay little attention to it.
The people we have to listen to are our true fans the ones who love us and love our work and they will not be criticising you.
They are the ones who buy your Art and what they think and say should be what we take notice of.
I don’t need to hear more criticism, I have enough going on in my own head without allowing others to have a say as well.
Ignore the critics, they were never going to buy your work.
Listen to the ones who love you and love your Art and buy your work, they are the ones you need to please, your own true fans.
Appreciate them and give them what they want, your original Art.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
