Change takes time.

The principles that I share with Artists are really simple, do small steps forward in your Art practice and personal development and this will lead to big changes in the future.
Peoples inability to change is very obvious when we consider New Year resolutions, great statements slowly lost.
People decide to do gym at the beginning of the year with great enthusiasm and by the end of February they have lost interest.
Why is this?
When we attempt to change our lives with just enthusiasm then as that enthusiasm slowly fades so does our will to go to gym and then we stop and go back to our old ways that feel so comfortable.
Unfortunately our old comfortable ways are so easy to fall back into rather than do what we know we should do.
To make big changes in your life takes desperation or disgust.
Now if those emotions are not there then you have to do it the only other way that will work for you, self discipline, small disciplined changes that are easy to do.
Instead of going to the gym, just walk around the block every day, that's easy at the start to do and maybe not fun but as you do it every day and it becomes a habit you begin to enjoy so you then slowly increase the distance you walk.
One key to building exercise into a daily habit or any new discipline is to add it to your daily work list,
Work lists are powerful and everything has to be ticked off or your day isn’t complete, no excuses you failed to complete your list today so do better tomorrow.
You can apply these principles into any area of your life you want to change.
Change comes by small incremental steps that become habits which lead to big changes in our lives, it takes time and patience is needed.
