Character.




We should all strive to be a role model to younger Artists by living up to a standard that we can be proud of.
Making sure our Art practice is not based purely on talent and creativity but that we have character and integrity as people doing the right thing even when others are not.
You are unique and original, put that into your Art and through you doing that you will reveal your inner creative self and inspire others.
Character is so important so be the best Artist and best person you can be, because people are looking for someone to inspire them and encourage them, not disappoint them.
Lead by example.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
