The key to success in the Art business is consistency.


Doing it today and then doing it again tomorrow a little better.

If your desire is always to do it a little better every day, you will improve.

If you only improve a little each day, every day, you will change your life dramatically in one year.

It is never the big gains that count it’s the small incremental gains, day after day.

It’s like the slow drip of a tap, it starts to drip into a bucket and you look in and see that there is so little water but over time the bucket overflows and the gain is great, it just takes time.

Build into your Art Career the habit of consistency and continual improvement.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
