See things as they are, not worse than they are.
A professional golfer I played with a couple of years ago at a
memorial day for my brother, was very, very good. When we finished I
asked him why he was teaching and not on the professional circuit.
I was astounded by his reply.
“ I have one bad shot every round.”
Now that is self realization.
He saw things the way they were, not worse, he did not blame anyone
or criticize himself, he just stated the fact and said how much he
loved teaching and interacting with other golfers.
He always wanted to be a golf pro, he was, that's what mattered to
him.
See things as they are, you wanted to paint, you are painting.
You wanted the opportunity to be creative, you are.
You wanted the opportunity to put you art work forward for people to
admire and buy, you are doing that.
You wanted the chance to sell your paintings, you have that
opportunity.
These are all our own personal choices and we are doing what we want
to do.
Yes there will be good days and not so good days.
There will be days of wonderful sales and days when there are no
sales.
Do not imagine it to be worse than it is.
See it for what it is, just a bad day.
Do not let fear make a solvable problem into a major disaster.
See it for what it is, something to work through and find a solution
for.
It is just life, it is how it is.
We can find valuable lessons in every setback.
Always look for something good in every problem.
See things for how they really are, not worse than they really are.
