In your Art Practice, think like the Ant.#1
“Go
to the ant”, to learn valuable lessons.
Ants
teach us how to be self-motivated and self reliant.
No
one carries a whip behind the ant to ensure the work gets done. There
are no starting or finishing time in the anthill.
The
ants are
self-motivated, and need no boss
to ensure they get their work done.
The
ant use all the resources that they have at hand and do all they can
to utilise them to the maximum.
1.Ants
are resolute. (they
never quit.)
“Consider
her ways and be wise”.
Imagine
that, “and be
wise,” just like the
ants are wise.
Have
you noticed that the ant
always finds
a way.
The
success of the ant depends on it its determination to succeed and it
is relentless in it's activity, it is as
if the ant never considers it will not
succeed, failure is not an option.
No
matter what the difficulty the Ant never gives up, it will always
overcome.
When
your survival depends on your success, then failure cannot be
considered, so when an ant fails to achieve what it wants to do it
just finds another way to do it and will keep trying to do it, as
many different ways as possible until it finds a way, it is
relentless.
If
it cannot go round the mountain then it will go over it, if it cannot
go over it, then it will go under it, if it not under it, then it
will go through it, it finds a way, it never gives up.
If
there is a road block up ahead then find another way to go.
Our
resolve within our Art business must be to just do it.
Promising
yourself you will never give up.
Do
not promise others, only promise yourself and be accountable to
yourself.
Keep
painting until……….. it works.
Keep
showing your paintings until……….. it works.
Pay
the price until…………. it works.
Be
patient until…………..… it works.
Never
give up until………… it works.
Do
you ever see an ant stand still?
Have
you ever seen a relaxing ant, just chilling out?
They
never stop moving.
They
never stop doing and we must be the same.
Do
what you can do.
Do
the best you can do.
Be
the best that you can be.
Be
like the ant, realise that the work creates the opportunity.
Artists
need to consider the ways of the ant, because the ant knows that the
miracle is in the work.
Artists
need to consider the ways of the ant and approach their Art practice
in the same way, failure is not an option, so they must be relentless
in what they do.
The
ant is focused on success and what it must do to achieve it.
The
ant does not consider it will fail, it cannot consider failure, it
just keeps doing what is necessary until it finds a way over or
around all obstacles, to make it work.
Be
resolute, never give up and do what it takes to succeed.
Consider
the ant and be wise.
