In your Art Practice, think like the Ant.#4

Go to the ant”, to learn valuable lessons.

The Ant gathers her food in the harvest.

In the harvest, food is plentiful.
When you have that solo show that you have worked so hard for and now the sales are coming in, its harvest time, go to the ant and learn.
She refuses to take her ease—instead working harder, storing up against the coming time of winter gathering in her food, the ant knows that rest is also something earned and she knows that in the harvest, it is not the time to rest, rest will come during winter.
Regrettably there are some Artists who are lazy, who love there ease, live in idleness, minds are not on their business, stick to nothing, bring nothing to pass, no paintings, careless in the business of Art and life.
Laziness is a sure way to lack and want.
If you have not taken advantage of every opportunity that has come along and worked hard through the exciting times of spring (opportunity) and the diligent days of summer ( doing the work ) then you will not deserve a harvest in autumn.
Learn to reap your harvest without complaint, this is yours, if it is not a good harvest, no complaining you got what you planted and if it is a good harvest do not apologise, you deserved it.
In the harvest the ant gathers in an abundant crop and she stores away the harvest because winter is coming.
Harvest time is not a time to spend all your money as some do because they had a very successful exhibition, gather your rewards and store them away, be wise because tomorrow it could all change.
Be wise with your harvest, save that money, don't waste it.
Those who have sewed in spring deserve the harvest.
If you have worked and promoted your self hard, then you get your harvest.
In life we get what we deserve not what we want or need.
It does not matter how needy you are, if you did not sew then your harvest will not come in.
The harvest belongs to those who planted, not to those who want it or need it, if you do not want to beg in harvest time, then do all the hard work in spring and summer, while others are coasting along.
Always give it your best effort, it will pay off when your time does come, work on your Art business, harvest time will come to you.
Your harvest will come at the right time, it may seem to take a long time but if you do the work it will come and when it does come remember all the hard winters you have been through and store away your earnings so you never go through another harsh winter again.
Learn from the ant store away in harvest time.
