Plan your future, don’t leave it to chance.

One of the most important things we can do is to have firmly fixed in our mind what we want to achieve, our goals.
Consider where you want to be in 10 years from now, I don’t mean have a vague idea of what you want like, “ Well I would like to be represented by a good gallery and be financially secure.”
I mean have a very crystal clear vision of what you want, very specific.
Visualise what you want to have accomplished in ten years and write it down.
Concentrate on clear precise ideas and write them down as they come, this is your future you are planning.
Think of these categories specifically.
Home life.
a. Where do you want to live?
Describe the house and where it is.
b. What is the future like for you and your partner?
Describe what kind of relationship you want to have?
c. What kind of vacations do you want to have?
Describe them?
Now think of other areas of your home life you want improved and write them down, be specific.
Work life.
a. What gallery do you want to represent you and in what city?
b. What income do you want to be earning from your Art sales?
c. What does your studio look like?
d. Which countries are you showing your Art in?
These and many more ideas I want you to write down.
What kind of car do you want to drive?
There is so much to plan and once you have your goals you can then work on how to bring them all to pass.
It will take a single mindedness and determination that will be relentless.
Clear specific goals will keep you going in the right direction and when you hit problems, roadblocks and market downturns you have your goals and you will keep working determinedly towards them despite what is happening around you.
In everything you do before you do it you must ask yourself this, “ Will this help me to achieve my goals?”
Plan you future and work hard to bring it to pass, do not leave it to chance.
