Gratitude.


As Artists we should focus on opportunities.

We should focus on results and focus on being productive.

Yet most importantly we should focus on being grateful.

Gratitude is so important, being grateful for all you have and the wonderful talent and gifts that you have been given.

So often we focus on what we do not have rather than being focused on being grateful for that we do have, there will always be people better off and worse off than us, so focus on gratitude.

Be grateful for all that you have and work hard at being a better person and making your world better, if everyone did it the world would be a better place.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success. Question, “From your last exhibition or showing, what was the worst part?” Now you cannot criticise anyone or anything, this is all about you.
