Thank you for everything.




When I started doing my daily blog and video three years ago I had no idea that it would grow like it has.
First I want to thank everyone who have taken the time to read my blogs and watch my videos, I am forever grateful, thank you.
To everyone who took the time to comment, share and like my work, thank you it encouraged me so much.
To all the groups I have shared my blogs and videos in I am grateful that you allowed me to do it and to all the critics, so few really, thank you for making me more determined to do what I am doing and never give up.
I would never have dreamed when I started that we could have arrived at this place and now change is coming.
It has been an amazing three years and I have learned a lot about myself and made so many wonderful friends, it is amazing what you can do when you walk against the fear and each one of us can do that.
It sounds a little like the end but in truth it is all just beginning.
Next year is an important year as it is the end of the first two decades of this new century and I believe it will be milestone year as we move into the third decade and I am looking forward to laying a very strong foundation for the Shellshear Art Group to build into this new decade.
So thank you for being part of this incredible journey and allowing me to do what I love.
If what I have done makes you want to do a daily blog and video like me then I will let you into the secret.
I never asked anyone's permission.
I never asked someone to show me how to do it.
I just picked me and did it.
I never looked at what others were doing because I did not want to be influenced, I wanted to do my work and be responsible for it if it failed and I am grateful it didn’t, but I am not special and there are a lot more talented people out there than me but I just refused to stop and that what you need to do if you want be successful, never give in.
One other thing is this, the only person who can really stop you is you.
I hope you continue to come along with me on this journey, you don’t need to ask permission but you will be very welcome.
I look forward to seeing many of you tomorrow in the Shellshear Art Group starting on the 1st of January 2019.
As Robbie Williams sang these amazing words “ Let me entertain you,”
Well I want to say, “Let me inspire you to be the best Artist and the best person you can be.”

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
