It’s your turn.

 Many people are waiting for something to happen that will benefit them, get known, get sales, but what if it doesn’t happen?

This lock down has been an amazing opportunity for some and time off for others.

Some Artists have had a sales bonanza and some convinced themselves that people wouldn’t buy in lock down.

One thought they would sell and one thought they wouldn’t and they were both right.

The Art market is still there, it has just changed, nothing is like it used to be.

Yesterday is broken, stop looking back to how it was because this is how it is.

You have a choice to be a spectator or a participator.

Today it’s your turn to participate, well it’s always been your turn so connect with new people through showing your work on all the different sites and groups.

Show your Art, talk about your Art let us see what you are creating and get our attention.

Believe in yourself, you are important and it’s your turn so participate.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
