We will believe you.


If you doubt what you do and criticize what you do, you will limit your chances of success.

You have to love what you do.

You have to be interested in what you do.

You have to do everything you can that will lead you to your success.

If you criticize yourself, we will agree.

If you believe in yourself, so will we.

We were told as children that it was wrong to praise ourselves, it is more important that others do.

But what if they don’t, I am in big trouble?

I have noticed that the Artists that tell us that their Art is beautiful, wonderful using all positive adjectives seem to sell better than those who don’t.

Why is that?

If the Artists loves their work I probably will also, I will at least look harder at it.

If the Artist says it’s not that good and they can do better, we will agree with them.

Do not sell yourself short, because we will believe you.

You must convince us of your amazing talent.

You must be your biggest fan.

You must believe in yourself.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
