It’s not about the short term rewards.

 

The object is to sell your paintings and get them onto walls of strangers.

Then in turn they introduce you to more strangers and you convince these strangers to invest in your work at prices that they will consider reasonable for an unknown Artist.

I want these strangers to become your collectors and your friends and life long collectors of your work and the price of your work will rise as you become more popular and more collectable.

I am not interested in you selling one of your paintings to someone, I want you to be able to sell all your paintings that you produce in your Artistic career to your collectors and strangers.

It’s not about the short term rewards it is about building an Art career, putting paintings onto the walls of collectors and strangers.

Selling paintings to strangers.

Turning strangers into collectors.

Turning collectors into friends.

Not selling one painting but selling a lifetime of paintings.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
