Sales generate cash flow.


You cannot count on luck and things turning around, if there is no cash flow, then it can’t be done.

You can fool yourself with different creative accounting ideas, but that will end in disaster.

Money is finite and if none is coming in but much is going out, then you are in trouble.

There must be cash flow.

Cash flow must cover your spending, it must be sustainable.

We must be selling and aggressively selling our Art to create cash flow.

Sales do not happen by magic.

Sales happen by intention and action.

Sales happen when we take action, send that second email and the third email, pick up the phone and text or ring them, sales happen when we go after those who show interest in our work.

Mix up your selling strategies, always be trying new things to get the attention of strangers and get you and your Art in front of them.

Sales generate cash flow and cash builds your strong Art business.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
