Attention gets you noticed.


The Art business is like any business, you have a product you created and then you have to sell it.

What are you going to do differently to market your Art work?

How are you going to get it in front of the right people who will love it?

What tools will you use, how are you going to do it, like only you can.

If you do what everyone else is doing, then you will get the same results that everyone is getting.

Or you can market yourself in a way that creates attention within the market by making videos and talk about your Art and get noticed.

It’s unlikely anyone can stop you because you don’t need permission to make videos, but you do need to act and make them.

Getting attention may get you some opposition but you will get noticed and that’s exactly what we wanted.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
