Building towards 2018.



In 2018 make the decision mentally to go full time in your Art practice, then as you go forward with the right attitude and mind set that will contribute to you being successful.
Learn to deal with the thief, because as you learn to discern it and use it to your advantage so fear will not stop you, but point you in the direction that you should go.
When the thief says,“stop” you say “Lets go.”
Careful do not consider any options but being successful, knowing that your Art is yours and original, go forward confidently.
Performance is more important than dreams.
There is always more that you can do.
There is always more that you can achieve.
There is always another level you can get to.
There must always be constant improvement, as an Artist and as a person.
Yes with every great step of faith is always the ability to fail but that should be the motivation for you to give it all you have and not give up.
Consistently wins and be determined to never give up.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
