The Challenge of 2018

As we launch into this brave new year let’s start with getting some priorities set down so we can go forward with confidence and determination in our Art practice.
What are your goals for 2018?
Your goals are what you want to achieve in 2018, think about what you want to accomplish, think about what will force you to the next level in your Art career, goals must stretch you and panic the thief.
Write them down so you can read them every day, it is important to write them down.
Once you have your goals worked out, then work out a plan on how you are going to accomplish this, a daily, weekly, monthly plan of how you will accomplish your goals.
Sometimes goals can be so overpowering that you can wonder, how am I going to do that, but if you can work out a step by step plan then you will work effectively towards your chosen goals.
You don’t want to have to make a big leap of faith to accomplish your goals next November that is very risky, but rather work towards them step by step.
Goals are very important to Artists because of what the goals can do for us, by stretching us to achieve them and what they make us become, to be better we have to become better.
To get to the next level in your Art career will not come by luck or accident, but by reminding yourself of your goals everyday by reading them everyday and you having a plan and consistently working it so you achieve your goals.
