Don’t paint for validation.
If you paint a wonderful painting and two people admire it or a thousand people admire it, it’s still the same painting and the amount of admiration you get isn’t part of the painting.
If you paint to be admired or for validation you will find these to be very empty Mistresses who will constantly betray you.
The admiration you get or lack there of has nothing to do with the creative process, it’s something extra it’s not part of the creative process.
You painted the painting because it’s your passion, your creation, you are following your Muse, creating because you can and you then offer it up to the world, complete and finished.
