Capture it and record it.


In Art and life the doing is always the hard part, that's where the miracle is hidden, in the hard work. Without daily work nothing is produced, it’s what you are doing when nobody is watching that counts.
All the days and nights working away at your craft alone.
Do what you can every day.
Do the best you can every day.
Do all you can every day.
Remember what the hard times were like, never forget, it will motivate you to never go back there again.
Be sensitive to others, you are not an island and we all need each other.
Be touched by the theatre of life, feel it and make it part of you creativity.
Be moved by the plight of others, a helping hand and a smile or hug may change the way a person is feeling.
Always be ready to listen to those in pain, often no response is necessary, they just needed someone to take time and listen.
Use all these emotions and feelings to motivate and inspire yourself to paint life and put all these human emotions into paint on your canvas.
You are only at this point in time and space for a moment, capture it and record it in paint for others to see and appreciate, your Art reveals the human condition through you.
Record life through your creative eyes.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
