Your future.

Building an Art business that is financially successful, takes self discipline, sacrifice and hard work.
It is not easy to do, because an Art business is not only about painting and drawing, it’s about managing your time, your effort and most importantly your money.
Everyone wants more money but if you do not manage your money well when you have only a little, you will not manage it well when you have a lot. Most Artists think that when they have a lot of money they will be better off, but remember, the past is the prediction of the future.
How you handle money now will not change in the future when you have more, unless you change.
If you spend it all now, you will spend it all when you have more.
At some point we all need to change and discipline ourselves and learn how to handle our money.
Learn to save when you have a little and you will save when you have much.
Have a bank account just for your savings, no spending allowed.
Know where you spend your money, keep a daily record.
Take out your saving when you get paid for a painting, before you spend any.
Pay yourself first put it into your bank account, this is your savings for your future.
Do not get caught in the trap of having a big celebration after you sell a painting, money spent on this is wasted money that you will never get back, lost forever from your savings.
Better to upset your friends than be poor.
The keys to an Artists financial security are.
Be frugal with your spending, know where you spend all your money, keep records and budget your expenses.
Save before you spend when you sell a painting.
Finally, never spend your savings it is your future.
