Get the attention of strangers

One of the most interesting things I see in the Art world is the rush of Artists to follow fads and trends in the belief that they are first, when really they are just part of the crowd.

This is certainly not the best way to be a successful Artist and get the attention of strangers.

The problem with being lost in the crowd of the same is you do not stand out, but it makes you invisible.

You would be far better to do different and original work and race ahead where no one else sees a path and deliberately hold back from going where the crowd wants to go.

Conforming to crowd think and being invisible is fine if that is what you want for your career, but it’s very hard for an invisible Artist to get the public's attention.

It is far better to stand out and get the attention of strangers, because once we get there attention, we then have the opportunity to sell our Art to them.

Don’t think you can’t do it, know you can do it.

Change your thinking and you will change your life.
