Total commitment.

 Obscurity means we are invisible, we are out of sight, nobody knows us, so the first step in selling our Art is to get known, people must know our name and can recognize us.

Because if people do not know you how can they buy your Art?     

Getting known will mean you putting yourself out where you can be seen, selling yourself on social media and in your local area you will have to be committed and I mean really committed.

You cannot just believe in yourself, you must totally believe in yourself, unshakable. 

You must be totally certain about you and your Art. 

 The best salesperson is the one who is totally convinced that what they are selling will benefit the person buying it.

 In every sales situation the more certain person will always convince the less certain person.

You must be totally certain that your Art is very good, it is valuable, you love it, you are passionate about it and you would buy it if you didn’t already own it. 

We can tell when someone hasn’t bought what they are trying to sell us, it lacks conviction, “my paintings sell themselves.”

We want to sell our Art to strangers because strangers are the key to our success so we must get known by strangers and sell our Art to them.
