Our people.

 Not everyone will like your Art especially if you are doing really new and different work.

Most want to recognize what they see and buy what others are buying.

The lesson to be learned in the Art business is that you cannot please everyone and if you do original work you will be misunderstood by some.

Always be true to your own vision and your Art and educate people about your work, especially people who have never seen anything like it before and win them over.

That is why I love story telling my Art, it educates the viewer and videos do this as well.

We are only for our people, the ones that love our work and they are the ones we created it for.

Tell new people why you do what you do, the more people we can win over to become our people, the bigger our Art business will grow.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success. Question, “From your last exhibition or showing, what was the worst part?” Now you cannot criticise anyone or anything, this is all about you.
