I like it when people like my work, of course, but when people don't like it, I give them respect because they took their time to view it and form an opinion.

Funny the same people tend to follow you, not sure why?

I think when we are courteous to people when they don't like our work and we don't attack them for their different opinion, people generally like that and if they like our attitude, then they will like us because of the way we dealt with them and they tend to want to know more about you.

Courtesy is strong driver and it cost us nothing to give and the rewards can be winning someone to us.

If we can win someone to us who doesn’t like our work but they like us it will not take long for them to come around and appreciate our work.

Good manners, a friendly smile and common courtesy can change the minds of those who at first didn’t like our Art.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
