Lead with a complement.


If you are in an Art show or in your Art booth and someone is admiring one of your paintings walk up to them and say, “ Thank you for taking time to look at my painting, you seem to appreciate nice paintings?”

We lead with a complement and finish with a question, we need to reinforce the positive opinions that people have of themselves.

Everyone believes they are normal.

We are treating people how they believe they should be treated and they will respond in kind.

Lead with a complement and they will usually respond in kind and answer your question.

Now the dance begins, answer and then question and repeat and

repeat until they say yes or no.
