It is most likely the thing to do

Artists I am sure you have been involved in a group show or exhibition and you have sold nothing and you have questioned everything. 
Why has this happened to me?
I do not deserve this, I am an Artist!
But it happens and we blame the world around us and the stars for being aligned, but still the result stands.
Instead of trying to change the world and everyone in it, start by making changes in yourself.
We all know of little areas of our lives that need a little change.
A question for you?
What little thing could you change today that would make a significant change to your Art career and bring you success?
What is your weakest skill as an Artist?
Something that you could change and that would help you achieve the success you want?
One small change, not a great big earth shattering change, but one small change that you could make and repeat every day and it would change your Art Career forever.
I believe that small changes made today effect your future profoundly.
Small changes like;
Take 30minutes each morning to read books on the Art business?
Learn to sell your paintings?
Learn to write stories about your Art and your Artist life?
Lean to overcome the fear of meeting new people?
Learning to talk to strangers?
Learning to have a great friendly smile?
Doing the one thing that scares you the most.
What would that be?
Artist you know what scares you the most and that is probably the key to your success.
Often the thing we don't want to do, is most likely the thing to do.
You are an Artist, be creative, a small change repeated every day will change your life, you can do this.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
