Just be your best.

For my critics, if you do not agree with me, that's fine, I am not writing for you.
To all of you who allow me into your lives and read what I say, I sincerely thank you, I really do appreciate all your kind words and comments.
Honestly speaking, if Artists want to be the brooding, misunderstood creatives, that's fine by me, but do not complain if the Art Market walks right past you and ignores all your complaining and criticism.
As Artists in the market place we must be the best we possibly can be.
The best paintings we can produce.
The best smile we can have.
The best greeting we can have.
The best explanation of our Art work we can have.
Because I really do believe that to get the best results we must be the best we can possibly be.
When we make the decision to be the best we possibly can be, it effects all we do, our mannerisms, our attitudes and our own happiness and the happiness of people around us.
Positive and enthusiastic people are fun to be around and these people get results.
If you want the best results, then just be the best you can be, do not compare you self to others, just be your best.
By being the best you can be now, you are planting seed into your future and your best harvest will come from it.
Your today effect your tomorrows.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
