It does not just happen by magic.

The best way for an Artist to get money is to work hard at your craft, sell your Art work for the best price you can get, then put away for yourself a minimum of 10% into your savings account and budget the rest of the money to live on and if you have any spare money at the end of the month, save it don’t spend it.
You need to learn to budget and save so you get to keep some of your money.
It breaks my heart when I see talented, hard working Artists struggling to make ends meet.
It is not that money does not come their way, it does and unfortunately they do not know how to handle it and therefor do not get to keep it.
There seems to be this attitude that, “ I can look after my money, I do not need help,” but if you have no money before the end of the month, you need help.
Better to learn how to manage your money so you get to keep some of it than to stubbornly go on not knowing where all your money goes.
For an Artist to be prosperous and successful does not just happen by magic, it takes hard work and discipline and from that you earn money from your Art, wouldn’t it be better to learn how to keep your money and build a better life?
There are so many books and tutorials on the internet about this subject and most are for free, get in and learn all you can, we also cover this subject in “ Do not do what unsuccessful Artists do.” in the Shellshear Art Academy.
Handling money is a learned skill, not a gift from God.
