It is free to promote yourself on the Internet.




Yet so few Artists take advantage of this opportunity and push as hard as they can to get attention and hopefully sales.
Now is the time to promote yourself and you Art through videos, blogs and showing your Art work on Artist pages in Facebook and other platforms.
When you show a painting always tell a short story about the painting or what you were thinking at the time it will engage the viewer and help bring about a sale.
Do a video of each individual painting with a voice over, very few are doing this and it is a great way to get known and get attention.
None of this is very difficult to do but it is time consuming and when you go to do something different and challenging you will have to deal with the “thief.”
It will help you to make excuses as to why you can’t do these things or shouldn’t do it and if that does not work it will try shame and ridicule to stop you, so prepare for the thief and when it turns up you will know you are on the right track.
Use fear as a go signal and just do what it is trying to stop you from doing.
Grasp the opportunity of the internet, do videos and blogs and use them to build your Art business today.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most.
