Videos become vitally important.

Last Saturday I wrote about videos and the need for everyone to be doing them.
I suggested that if you are just beginning to do videos and you are a little scared of putting your face on the video then when you shoot the video have it focused on the Art work and do voice over for it and that way your face is not on the video.
But I must stress that this is the beginning of doing videos not the end, I would hope as you become confident doing these videos that you will then graduate on to doing the videos where you are seen.
It is very important that you start videos, there is so much opportunity there to get noticed, tell your story and get the attention of strangers and so few Artists do videos.
The reason I stress videos so much is is because it not only promotes your Art but it promotes you, people get to know you and that is what you want, recognition.
There is so much value in videos because you the Artist are what is valuable as you make the Art and without you there is no Art, once Artists grasp this, that they are the value proposition, then videos become vitally important.
I know most Artists shudder at the thought of going forward and being in the spotlight but if you want to be successful you must be known and recognizable and videos will make this happen for you.
We all get known through our videos and they are so valuable to us for personal promotion and the promotion of our Art.
