A worthy goal.



Successful Artists are willing to do what unsuccessful artists are not prepared to do.
Working on your Art practice and yourself consistently and correctly will produce excellence.
Working on yourself requires change and that will take self discipline and old bad habits will have to go.
To be a success or to be a failure both involve pain, the successful Artists works hard though out their career and in the beginning must endure the pain of self discipline and the unsuccessful Artist who does not work hard and is undisciplined will endure the pain of regret later in life.
Please do not, I plead with you, do not wait until you are in your late 40’s or 50’s and face a huge crisis that forces you to change.
Make change a choice that you choose to do now, not one you are forced to do later.
Deal with those bad habits, that are holding you back from excellence.
The best day to change is today.
The best day to start learning is today.
The best day to make your Art career even more successful is today.
Strive for excellence in your Art practice, it is a worthy goal.

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
