Walking down that Artistic road.

Embrace uncertainty, this is the walk of the original creative Artist.

Don’t walk down the beaten path, don’t be average, mediocre, one of the crowd, dare to blaze a new Art trail that is your creative trail alone.

Creating something new and original is scary, but exciting.

There is something wonderful about being the first to do something it is exciting and challenging, that is what makes being a trailblazer so amazing.

Do not let fear, the “thief” rob you or try to stop you by using shame and saying things like, “ Who do you think you are to think you are so special?”

You are special, your an Artist.

The thief will try to use shame or any tactic to stop you from doing something new and challenging it wants average and safe.

Don’t ask for directions from others, make your own vision a reality, walk down that unknown road of creativity.

Is it dangerous and scary? Yes.

Could you fail and have to start again? Yes.

Could it be the decision that changes your life and brings success? Yes.

Do not let the fear stop you from accomplishing all you can as an Artist. You must remember that in any venture where you are going to step out from the crowd and be original and creative within that is also the chance to fail.

If you don’t want to ever fail then do not ever attempt to do anything extraordinary, just be average and one of the crowd and the fear will never really concern you as you will be safe and ordinary.

But if you want accomplish extraordinary things as an Artist then you will need to work with failure.

Go ahead and do it, you will either win or fail, neither are life threatening.

If you win, rejoice.

If you fail, start again and cut a new trail and do it better next time.

If you fail again, then you just get up and keep doing it until your persistence and determination win and your success will come, just never give up, never let failing defeat you then you will be successful.

You must stay in the game, do not seek permission, give yourself permission.

Do not seek validation, validate yourself by painting your Art.

You must experiment and be the most innovative and creative Artist that you can be and the biggest complement you can get is when an admiring collector says to you,

“Wow, I have never seen anything like that before, it is so wonderful.”
