The best thing you can do for your Artistic career, is to become an incredible success.

You will accomplish that by not being the same Artist you are today in five years time.
That means change has to happen if you are to be that success, that change will come through new personal disciplines and the problems and adversities that you will face in your life and career.
Every adversity has within it the opportunity for us to learn and grow.
Failure is part of the success process as it will teach us to question ourselves as to what price we will pay for that success.
The price is the personal cost to us, how we will respond when it all goes wrong?
Determination and persistence through adversity will bring us to that place of high achievement.
It’s not great talent that will get you to the top, there are a lot of talented failures in the Art world.
It is not luck that will get you to the mountain top, luck can come and give you a big push but if you are not prepared for the success you will soon go back to where you were.
You see adversity and setbacks as much as they can hurt and discourage they are what prepare us for success, building within us such determination that we refuse to give in.
Where we become so determined to persist and work hard for as long as it takes, that’s preparation for success.
Oh yes it does seem hard and unfair at the time of hardship but as you change and become the person that you are destined to be, the best Artist that you can be, you are preparing yourself for that success to reside with you and this will cause you to understand what a prize you have and be able to keep your success.
Success is wasted on the unprepared as it will not stay long.
Do not disdain the hard times and difficult days because they have built a strength in you that money cannot buy and schools cannot teach.
I am not saying rejoice because of the hard times, I am saying understand the process that you have been through and the lessons you have learned, some I know are very hard, allow these experiences to enhance your determination never to have that happen to you again.
I will not go back.”
There is no stopping a persistent and determined Artist who has the attitude that I will make it, I will do it and I will do it for as long as it takes.
You cannot stop that attitude and success can reside with that determined person.
Success is looking for a prepared home, not a vacation house.
