Use this time for your benefit.


Make the difficulties of life a journey of discovery, yes a hard journey they may be, but a journey none the less and let them bring out in you your extraordinary strengths, courage and abilities that are resident inside you.
Record this journey of discovery in drawings, paintings and words and allow the answers to come from within through your creativity.
Adversity does not last forever and you must outlast it by using your creative powers to record the process of your healing through this dark time.
I am not saying it is easy and you will discover that this event will be life changing and when you come out the other side you will a stronger, wiser, better person and you will have a valuable record of your courage to call upon in the future, your journey from dark to light in paintings, drawings and words.
You are an Artist, you are a creative person, you will get through this, create your life..

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
