Just one new skill.



Saving money takes a long time to accumulate, it’s slow and hard.
Debt accumulates quickly and is easy to get and will smother you if left unchecked.
Selling is hard, that’s why people make excuses not to do it.
Learning a new skill is hard, that’s why so few learn new skills.
The majority want it to be easy and comfortable and believe in the it will all work good and that winning lotto will make them happy, it will not and most who win usually after some time end up right back where they started.
Money like success, only stays with those who are prepared, it might visit the unprepared but it does not stay long.
What if you could spend six months learning a new skill that would start you on the road to your fortune, wouldn’t you do it?
Six months of reading all the books, doing all the free tutorials on You Tube and listening to all the mp3’s available for free, if that would change your life forever for good, wouldn’t that be worth doing?
I think it is so interesting that there are lots of people in sales in the world, but so few who know how to sell, yet they can learn for free if they want to, it’s all available for free on the internet.
If you learned the skill of selling, imagine how much of your wonderful Art could be found in strangers homes and they could be becoming your friends and collectors.
Imagine what your Art career could be like if you just learned that one skill, how to sell?

Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth?

                                               Why don't people want to pay what my art is worth? I keep reading on an artists group pages again and again the same old question, “ I cannot sell my art for what it is really worth?” This is always a question raging in the art world, sort of the never ending question. Every artist has an opinion about this and it sometimes sounds like whining and of coarse they do not want to hear any opinions that differ from the fact, that their art is worth far more than they can sell it for. Your weakest skill, sets the height of your success. If you don't know your best skill, you had better find out your weakest skill, because its the weakest skill that holds you back. As Artists we so often coast along depending on our strongest skills to get us through, never realising that it is the weakest skills that hurt us the most. Now I have learned what not to do, because as an Artist I never did this but after years in Galleries I wish I had, it was a weak skill that determined the height of my success.
